Wildlife & conservation

We’re located in the wilderness area of the award-wining Ol Pejeta Conservancy; a 30 minute flight or 4 hour drive from Nairobi. The conservancy is internationally recognised for its proactive and innovative approach to conservation and is home to an impressive array and abundance of wildlife including the Big Five and the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos in existence.

WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

Of all the beautiful, wild spaces in Kenya that we could have chosen to build our home we chose Ol Pejeta because of their dedication to conservation. In 1993 Ol Pejeta was home to just 20 black rhinos but with thanks to tourism, fundraising, community involvement and an astonishing amount of hard work and dedication they now boast a population of 171. The conservancy is also home to the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos on the planet, Najin and Fatu, who you are invited to visit during your stay.
