Family Safaris

PRIVACY, EXCLUSIVITY AND WILDERNESS ON YOUR FAMILY SAFARI

Kids on safari? Absolutely! We welcome children of all ages to our little spot of wilderness and here’s a few reasons families love going on safari with us…

  • PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION, PERSONAL CHEF AND EXCLUSIVE VEHICLE USE: as standard your stay with us includes completely private accommodation (your own little bush home away from home where you don’t have to worry about other guests), a personal chef cooking food to exactly yours and your kid’s tastes and a private vehicle meaning you can enjoy activities at your leisure and totally on your own schedule.

  • VALUE FOR MONEY: if you’re thinking this level of exclusivity is going to come with a hefty price-tag then think again. A private vehicle and personal chef is included in all fully inclusive package bookings with prices starting at USD465 per adult per night and children under 12 are half price.

  • SPACIOUS AND SAFE: your private safari cottage includes use of an extensive verandah and living area and the property has a single strand electric fence running around the perimeter to keep big game out. Due to our altitude we are also malaria free!

  • OUR PEOPLE: our team adore children and, if things have gone a little quiet and you’re wondering what’s going on, you’ll likely find them in the kitchen with the chef learning to bake fresh rolls or roasting marshmellows over the fire with the askari (night guards) and learning about the stars.

Accommodation & Experience

THE PERFECT BLEND OF CREATURE COMFORTS AND ADVENTURE

Our two bedroom safari cottages are a bright and spacious home for your family safari. Both bedrooms offer ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers, hot and cold running water, 24hr solar electricity and wifi so you can stay in touch with loved ones back home. Game drives are at your leisure and the conservancy is ripe with wildlife; you’ll likely encounter elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffe and plains game every day! As well as spotting animals on drives, kids will love meeting Baraka; a rescued black rhino who loves a good chin scratch and taking a walk along the river with the rangers looking for hippos.
