ACTIVITIES ON OL PEJETA

WHERE WILDLIFE, communities & CONSERVATION THRIVE

SAFARI ACTIVITIES WITH A PRIVATE VEHICLE & GUIDE

A fully inclusive stay with us includes a private 4WD safari vehicle and professional guide at no extra cost. That means you’re fully in charge of your time. When you arrive you’ll have a chat with your guide so you can decide on what activities you’d like to do: day game drives, night drives, bush picnics and bush walks all on a schedule that suits you.

Wildlife is abundant in Ol Pejeta; home to lions, cheetah, leopard, rhino, elephant, giraffe, hyena and more. There’s so much to see!

CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES WITH OL PEJETA

As well as safari activities led by our guides you can get involved in a number of conservation activities that are run by Ol Pejeta. Some of the activities we’d recommend are a visit to the Northern White Rhinos, a K9 security team demo and a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzees Sanctuary.

You can see the full list of activities on offer and their respective prices from Ol Pejeta here and click below to read more about how your stay supports their conservation practices.

What can you see?

On daily game drives you will likely encounter, most notably, elephants, lions, white rhino, spotted hyena, jackals and plains game including zebra, eland and buffalo. Leopard are still secretive on the conservancy but they are seen on occasion and cheetah populations are slowly recovering. Other rare and endangered species include Jackson’s Hartebeest, striped hyena and black rhino.
